About Us

Otorhinolaryngology Department is located at Block P in the Faculty of Medicine Universiti Malaya. Together with the establishment of Universiti Malaya, this department was among the earliest otolaryngology specialty developed in Malaysia. Our clinic and ward are located in the Universiti Malaya Medical Center building which is a teaching hospital serving the needs of patients care, and teaching for the undergraduate and postgraduate students. Besides the regular outpatient clinic and inpatients services providing for the care of ear, nose and throat, research and management of head and neck malignancies, endoscopic Skull base surgery, thyroid disorders, sleep-breathing disorders, peadiatric airway, peadiatric vestibular, implantable hearing devices such as Cochlear implants were given particular importance.
