A Momentous Milestone in Early Detection of Prostate Cancer Policy
Today marks a significant milestone as we proudly presented our Policy Brief on Improving Prostate Cancer Screening to the Honourable Minister of Health @dzulkefly_ahmad at the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
This policy brief was initiated under the Urological Cancer Trust Fund, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya. It advocates for a targeted, evidence-based national prostate cancer screening programme that prioritises early detection, and reduces the burden of late-stage cancer.
With collective efforts, we can change the narrative of prostate cancer in Malaysia. Early detection saves lives!
