Green@UMHealth is proud to announce that our Head, Professor Shireen Anne Nah, was featured in BFM 89.9’s special podcast episode, “Green-ing Healthcare for Our Planet”, in conjunction with World Environment Day on June 5, 2025.
In the episode, Prof Shireen reflects on the environmental paradox of healthcare—while the sector exists to heal and save lives, it also contributes significantly to global greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, and waste production.
