The Faculty of Medicine Universiti Malaya recognizes the importance of mental health in academia and collaborates closely with the Department of Psychological Medicine, Division of Counseling & Disability Empowerment and independent professionals in supporting the emotional well-being of its students and staff.
Through collaborations with the Department of Psychological Medicine, Occupational Safety & Health Environment (OSHE), UM's Integrity Unit, Legal Unit and Division for Counseling & Disability Empowerment the Faculty has established a comprehensive flowchart for the management of mental health problems amongst students and staff.
