The Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya is very proud of our third-year medical student, Woon Shi Sien, who has been elected International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA)' Asia-Pacific Regional Team General Assistant. IFMSA, which represents a network of 1.3 million medical students from 123 countries, is one of the world’s oldest and largest student-run organisations and has a rich history in bringing medical students from all over the world to engage in global issues. We wish Shi Sien the very best in his new role!
