Unit for Sustainability in Healthcare, PPUM, has launched the Diabetic Pen Return Program and is honoured to collaborate with the Pharmacy Department, Diabetic Care Unit, and Paediatric Clinic as part of this initiative.
This program aims to raise awareness among staff and patients on sustainable healthcare practices by encouraging the proper return of used injection pens at designated collection points.
The initiative represents a significant step towards promoting environmentally responsible practices within the healthcare setting and supports the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly within PPUM.
