CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: FACULTY OF MEDICINE POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME (FOMPSS) SEMESTER 1, SESSION 2025/2026

The Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, is pleased to announce that applications for the Faculty of Medicine Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme (FOMPSS) will be open to all local postgraduate candidates currently pursuing a Master of Medical Science (by Research) or Doctor of Philosophy (by Research) in the Faculty of Medicine.

The FOMPSS will cover tuition fees starting from Semester 1, Session 2025/2026 (October 2025 intake).

Key dates for applicants:

• Application opens: 20th August 2025
• Application deadline: 29 August 2025
• Interview session: 4th week of September 2025
• Scholarship announcement: 2nd week of October 2025

Application Guidelines

1. Submit the completed FOMPSS application form to pgfom@ummc.edu.my.
2. The Secretariat will acknowledge receipt of your submission via email within 3–5 working days. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact the FOMPSS Secretariat.
3. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview session.

All applications must follow the latest guidelines and use the latest application form. Incomplete or late applications will not be processed.
