Attention to Supervisors and Doctoral Candidates (PhD and DrPH):
All candidates of the Doctoral program (PhD and DrPH) who have passed the Proposal Defence presentation are invited to participate in the Universiti Malaya 3 Minute Thesis 2024 competition at the faculty level for the year 2024. Graduates are not allowed to participate in the competition.
This mode of presentation of the UM3MT competition will be in video recording.
Entry and Participation Period: 08.04.2023 until 25.04.2024
The deadline for submission of entries (PowerPoint slides and video in MP4 format, maximum 3 minutes) must be submitted no later than 25.04.2024 (Thursday), 2.00 p.m.
The winners will be announced on 30.04.2024 (Tuesday), at 9.30 a.m. in the Faculty Room, Faculty of Medicine.
Prizes for winners at the Faculty of Medicine level:
First Place: RM 300 + Certificate
Second Place: RM 200 + Certificate
Third Place: RM 100 + Certificate
Consolation: Certificate of Participation
Prizes for winners at the University level (on 9 May, 2024):

Participants are required to submit entries in the form of a video presentation and PowerPoint slides (in the specified format) to the Deputy Dean (Postgraduate) Office via email at medic_thesis@um.edu.my no later than 25.04.2024 (Thursday), 2.00 p.m. Submissions beyond the stated period will not be accepted.
