The Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya would like to congratulate our academic staff, Dr Nurshamimi Nor Rashid, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Molecular Medicine and her research team on being awarded a special prize and gold award at the Korea International Women's Invention Exposition 2021 (KIWIE) for their work on extraction and use of anti aging and antioxidant plant compounds. KIWIE is a platform to encourage and support women inventors and inventions. Over the past decade, it has driven the growth of women inventors internationally. Well done to Dr Nurshamimi and her research team!
