The Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya would like to extend our heartiest congratulations to Professor Dr. April Camilla Roslani, our Dean of Medicine and Professor of Surgery on being the first Malaysian to be awarded the prestigious Honorary Fellowship of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS). The ASCRS Honorary Fellowship is designed to honour individuals who have made outstanding achievements and contributions to fields related to colon and rectal surgery. Each year, ASCRS recognises up to six Honorary Fellows. Professor April was also awarded the American College of Surgeons (ACS)’ Honorary Fellowship last year.
