The Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya would like to congratulate Dr Ester Wong Min Fui, one of our Doctor of Public Health students on being awarded the "Anugerah Persatuan Siswazah Wanita Malaysia". Dr Ester who is supervised by Associate Professor Dr Hazreen Abd Majid and Associate Professor Dr Mas Ayu Said from the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, UM Faculty of Medicine won the award which is worth RM10,000 for her research study entitled “Development of a psychosocial intervention for depressive and anxiety symptoms in enhancing the quality of life among the B40 at low-cost flats of Subang Jaya, Malaysia”. Well done to Dr Ester and her supervisors!
